"My favorite part was …

The communication between members of the team – seeing their knowledge and expertise at work

The patient information that was provided made me realize how something like this could happen. I feel like this exercise was very helpful

Whole tabletop exercise – got everyone thinking. Many good questions and comments were exchanged"

Is your emergency operations plan current? Is it realistic for likely hazards in your community? Do you have the tools and experience to implement the plan? EPS Exercises and Simulations are education to prepare for the unexpected.

Emergency Preparedness Exercises and Simulations
“Education and Exercises to Prepare for the Unexpected”
Phase

Description

I: Plan Education and Awareness Training

Educate: At EPS, we believe that the first step to successful emergency response is education and awareness. EPS learning solutions include curriculum design, “train-the-trainer” workshops; computer based training and on-site delivery that will prepare your staff to perform effectively during times of crisis.

Train-the-Trainer
Many training programs are best delivered by a cadre of in-house trainers. Our train-the-trainer workshops prepare instructors to facilitate interactive and effective training programs to meet training objectives.

II: Exercises & Simulations
Prepare: Our Preparation exercises are interactive emergency CBRNE, mass casualty, and natural disaster simulations. These unique programs provide participants with an opportunity to practice making effective decisions during a crisis. Participants can expect to be faced with a variety of dynamic situations, and work together to create mission-critical solutions applicable to your unique organization.
III: Exercise Design Coaching
Are you ready to design and deliver your own exercises and simulations? EPS exercise designers will coach you through the process of hazard assessment, defining the exercise scope, writing objectives, determining major and minor events, overcoming planning obstacles, gaining support of key opinion leaders, scheduling logistics and media coverage, exercise facilitation, and writing an after action reports. Let us assist you in designing the tabletop exercise or mass casualty simulation that best meets your group’s needs.
